What a place! A short weekend away and we didn't want to leave. This barn conversion was a delight to stay in. Amazing kitchen. Amazing living room. Gorgeous bathrooms and bedrooms. Everything you would ever want, including some strange shiny discs in boxes under the TV 🤷🏻♂️ 😘 we will definitely be going back .

Absolutely stunning barn conversion just outside of the lovely town of Cockermouth. Mark and Rachel are lovely friendly hosts and have ensured that the Lazy fish has anything you might possibly need (including the best homemade brownies). Happened upon Mark walking their beautiful friendly dog Bruce, who made quick friends with our dog Bailey. The lazy fish is a large open space that is rustic and very cosy. The log burner is a beautiful centre piece in the large room and adds an extra level of comfort. The lazy fish was incredibly clean and very well equipped.. from cutlery to serving platters, everything was available. A long weekend was not enough, and we will be back. A lovely stream outside and beautiful countryside makes it a wonderful place to walk and enjoy the outdoors.

The Lazy Fish was a fantastic place to stay and was hosted by the lovely Rachel who was very accommodating for 6 people and 2 dogs (1 puppy). She'd even made up the wood fire and baked us delicious brownies.
The place is a rustic converted barn that is way bigger than it looks in the pictures with 2 spacious bedrooms and a balcony bedroom area.
Great location and a short drive to neighbouring towns like Keswick and Cockermouth.
Highly recommend!

We stayed in the Lazy Fish Hut which was lovely and cosy especially with the fire on. Such an amazing glamping experience and ideal location to go explore different places. One of the owners even brought their dog over to meet ours so they could play together.

I highly recommend a stay at the Little Fish. The accommodation and location is perfect. Attention to detail is high and it was refreshing to find good quality glass and dinnerware! The Little Fish was spotless and Rachel is so helpful. We couldn't fault our time here and we're already planning a stay at the Lazy Fish.

Lovely quite location, great digs stoped in the little fish, bed was comfy and inviting, sofa was a nice brown leather with a double foot stool very comfy to chill on at the end of the day and watch a film (take a dvd with you, not!! a blueray) kitchen had every thing you needed if you wanted to cook as we did once, big bath easly fits two, shower is a walk in, its own little alcove, also great little graden to sit out in and enjoy the rays of sunshine if you get it 😊.
